If you'd love to join the Bully Up Foster Team, please submit the foster application. Once approved, we would discuss which companion might be appropriate for your home and conduct an on-site or virtual home check. When you foster, our rescue covers 100% of all costs: food, preventatives, medical, toys, and supplies. Fostering is typically a 4-6 month commitment (it could be less or a longer time period depending on the dog).

 

As a foster parent, you would be required to bring your foster dog to vet visits, occasional adoption events, provide at least bi-weekly updates via text, and photos/videos of the foster dog to help promote him/her for finding their furever family.

Minimum Requirements for Fostering a Bully Up Companion:

• Be at least 21 years of age

• Have no breed or weight restrictions on lease, in HOA by-laws, and/or homeowner's insurance, if you rent or own

• Have written landlord approval required to allow a bully breed, if you rent

• Be prepared to pay a pet deposit, if applicable, if you rent

• Reside within Central Florida (exceptions may be made on case-by-case basis)

• Verification of homeownership

• Verification of veterinarian reference checks, if applicable
